Sienna’s Star Shines Brightly Rockmount’s three-year-old Choisir filly Sienna Star was extremely impressive in winning at Sandown on March 5th. The 1000 metre sprint trip was the ideal race for Sienna Star to earn a much overdue metropolitan win and she has certainly inherited plenty of her father’s speed. The chestnut filly certainly looks like she can improve on her record to date of 2 wins and a placing from only 6 starts. Choisir has thrown 24 individual winners this season and his progeny certainly appear to relish between a 5 to 7 furlong trip. Sienna Star has plenty of staying power on the dam’s side of her pedigree and we are confident that she will see out a 1400 metre trip in time. Sienna Star’s next start will most probably be either at Sandown on March 26th over 5 furlongs or March 29th in a 6 furlong event at Moonee Valley. |
