Moody Tips Big Future For Skye Gold

Peter Moody has foreshadowed an Oaks future for promising filly Skye Gold after she racked up her third win in a row this preparation on December 29th at Moonee Valley.

Ridden by Luke Nolen, the daughter of Galileo added to her last two wins at Pakenham and Kilmore with a brilliant finish to score by 1 ¼ lengths in the mile event. Moody said the AJC Oaks could be within reach of Skye Gold who has raced only five times.

He said only class got her home at the Valley as she is crying out for longer races and an Oaks campaign is the obvious next step. She will have a brief spell at Rockmount before embarking on her Autumn campaign.
