Deserving Win For Nadeem Filly

Promising Nadeem filly Szewinska overcame difficulties in transit to score a tenacious win at Sandown on Wednesday.

The Peter Moody trained filly made it three wins from six starts when apprentice rider Jake Duffy was able to coax a narrow half head win from the filly in the 1600 metre Ratings 72 event after having to change course in the straight.

Szewinska runs for Greg Perry's Greenwich Stud Syndicate.

Perry has found fame this season as the breeder of unbeaten Group 1 winner Atlantic Jewel and will no doubt be hoping Szewinska can pick up some Black Type to add further value to her as a prospective broodmare.

Both Szewinska and Atlantic Jewel pretrain at Rockmount.
