Street Cry Love Affair Continues

The love affair between Melbourne Cup winning owner Laurence Eales and the progeny of leading sire Street Cry (IRE) continued at Bendigo on Thursday when talented Rockmount pretrainer Liveandletdie scored an eye-catching debut win.

Carrying the black and orange colours made famous by the Eales owned spring stars Shocking (Melbourne Cup) and Whobegotyou (MRC Yalumba Stakes), the Mark Kavanagh trained Liveandletdie was sent out a hot favourite for the 1000 metre juvenile maiden and raced accordingly.

He settled just off the pace for MIchael Rodd and loomed into the race strongly at the furlong and despite racing greenly won by nearly three lengths with his ears pricked on the line.

Shocking, Whobegotyou and Liveandletdie all pretrain here at Rockmount in the water walker and on the traing track.
