Kavanagh And Rockmount A Winning Formula The winning formula of Kavanagh Racing and Rockmount was proven again at Morphettville on Monday. After cheering home Queen’s Kiss to a victory earlier in the day, exciting Choisir filly Champagne Harmony cruised to an impressive victory in the Group Two SAJC Yallambee Classic. A lightly raced filly, Champagne Harmony was dominant when winning her previous start at Caulfield over 1200 metres and the step up to stakes company proved no hurdle for the powerful bay. She stalked the leader Cerberus Gal for much of the 1200 metre event and then zoomed away from her over the concluding stages to win by close to two lengths. Champagne Harmony now has the impressive record of three wins from four starts with prizemoney of $191,400, her lone defeat at the hands of unbeaten Group Two winner Mic Mac. Champagne Harmony is likely to go to Sydney for a crack at the rich fillies and mares races with the Group One STC Coolmore Classic at Rosehill in a fortnight a possible target. |
