Unlucky at his last two starts, talented three year-old Whobegotyou bounced back to score a devastating win in the Group Two MVRC Stutt Stakes at Moonee Valley on Friday September 26th over 1600 metres and is yet another top class racehorse pretrained at Rockmount.

The Mark Kavanagh trained son of Street Cry (IRE) relished the step up to 1600 metres, settling back in the field and then accelerating when he saw daylight to score a commanding four length win over quality colts All American and Carnero.

“He defied the pattern of racing as it looked to be a dynamite leaders track, so he might be one right out of the box,” said a delighted Mark Kavanagh.

“We have two weeks to the Guineas (Caulfield) now and that should be just about right.”

Whobegotyou is also entered for the Group One VRC Victoria Derby and now boasts the record of three wins and a second from six starts with prizemoney of $174,950.
