Three for three and now a $2.80 favourite for this Saturday’s Group 1 Australian Guineas, Light Fantastic is no doubt special. Bred and raised by Wood Nook Farm in Nagambie, Light Fantastic is a gelded son of Danehill Dancer out of a very good producer in Leica Or Not.

All three of the gelding’s wins have come in the month of February and the Rockmount pretrainer has progressed from an 1100 metre maiden win at Kyneton, then a 1200 metre Listed win and on to a Group 2 1400 metre win. Amassing over $190,000 already in prize money, the Mick Price trained horse will go for a spell after Saturday’s Group 1 affair and be aimed at the W.S. Cox Plate in the spring.
